- User can browse categories, search health science topics and read full articles including text with contextual advertisement and clickable link without needing to register.
- The home page features latest and trending articles while a global search bar and structured category browsing enable easy navigation.
- The platform suggest related content during browsing and displays recommended articles at the end of each piece to encourage deeper exploration.
- Articles support internal navigation links and scroll to top / bottom buttons for smooth reading. All hyperlinks open in new tabs.
- User can share the article via native share option and bookmarks as well for later.
- Users can switch between Dark Theme and Light Theme for a comfortable, eye-friendly reading experience in any lighting environment.
- Region based navigation offers a visual By Region interface with custom illustration such as Shoulder Girdle or Cervical Spine where clicking any region instantly filter relevant articles.
- Users can explore content flexibly by Region Tissue or Movement for faster intuitive discovery.
- The system is powered by contentful CMS, dynamically delivering all content and illustrations with structured models and rich HTML formatting support.
Challenges
- The main challenge was to upload 1,800+ articles into Contentful while maintaining proper structure and organization.
- Each article needed to be categorized correctly under its respective blog type and blog article category.
- All internal links pointing to the Bear app had to be converted into corresponding Contentful CMS URLs, ensuring no broken links after migration.
Solution
- We converted all 1,800+ articles into a JSON format, making it easier to process and upload in bulk.
- Convert all Bear app links to the appropriate Contentful CMS links.
- Automatically assign each article to the correct blog type and blog category during the migration process.
- This automated workflow significantly reduced manual effort, eliminated errors, and ensured a smooth and accurate content migration.
